Travelling to Tiree

By Sea

The Caledonian MacBrayne RoRo ferry runs from Oban four times a week in Winter and more often in Summer. The 3hr 45min journey takes you up the spectacular Sound of Mull and out to neighbouring Coll before arriving at Tiree. Winter and Summer schedules are different, so visit the CalMac Tiree Page to find the current timetable, which also gives details of connecting trains between Oban and Glasgow.

If coming by ferry then you may want to spend a night in Oban as most boats leave between 6 and 9am. You can find Oban accommodation at Oban & Lorn Online.
